Serving at Broadway Church
Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here on our Serving At Broadway Church page and we can’t wait to get you started serving as part of a team! Serving is a unique privilege — it provides an opportunity to use your particular gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experiences to make a lifelong and eternal impact on other peoples lives. Some teams (like the greeters and welcome desk) work together before and after the worship service, other teams (like children, youth, 60+, or group leaders) work with people in positions of trust. No matter which team you are serving with, we want to make sure that you are equipped in terms of training, resources, leadership, policies, practices, and paperwork too.
If you are working with people in positions of trust (like Children’s Ministry, Youth, 60+, or Groups), you will need to complete Protection Policy Training, to complete and submit a Vulnerable Sector Volunteer Application, and you will need a Vulnerable Sector Police Check as well.
On the other hand, if you are signing up to serve on a team that doesn’t put you in a position of trust with someone who could be considered vulnerable (greeting at the front doors, for example), you will only need to complete a Ministry Commitment form. Each of those forms have been provided via links below. We can’t wait to hear from you and help you continue on your journey towards making a lifelong and eternal impact through serving as part of a team.
