MORNING WORSHIP
On Sunday morning at 10 AM in the Auditorium, you will enjoy some contemporary musical worship, with a time of hearing from God through Biblical teaching that is relevant in today’s world and to our lives. You may see special music, drama, media presentations, and more! Each of these things serves the purpose of bringing us closer to Jesus and helping us understand and apply God’s Word, the Bible, to our lives.
FAMILY SUNDAY
We. believe that not only are youth and children the church of tomorrow, but that they are also the church of today! We invite and encourage them to be part of the day to day life of the church, by getting involved in various ministries. The Bible calls children a blessing from the Lord and that is how we see them.
Throughout the year, we host Family Sunday Services where every member of the family can join in and be a part of the fun. The service will include interactive teachings, worship and connection time. Students who desire to participate in the main service may be able to help serve on a team such as Worship, Greeting, Ushering, Media, and more. It is a time in which parents can encourage and help their students to be an active part of the church family by serving and being together.
OUR WORSHIP STYLE
Worship is an important part of the Broadway Family life and is one of the ways we experience God. Our worship is contemporary in style that at times has a blend of old and new worship. The Worship team which consists of a band, a Worship leader and backup vocalists that follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as they lead people in worship of Jesus.
Some of the ways you might observe people worshipping when you visit Broadway are clapping, raising of hands, kneeling, silence and other Biblical expressions. These expressions of worship are simply a response to God and the people’s love for Him.
Jesus said in John 4:23 – true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. That is the kind of worship we desire to have whenever we meet.
NURSERY
Our nursery is open every Sunday and families can drop off their little ones when they arrive at church. Babies and toddlers up to 2 years of age can come and play in a safe environment with our wonderful team of volunteers. An infant care room is also available for families.
KIDZ City
Children aged 3 to 11 years will be invited downstairs after worship for an experience specifically designed for each of their age groups and developmental stages in life. Be sure to see our kids’ welcome team to register and ask any questions you may have. Or contact JanaMindle@BroadwayChurch.ca to pre-register. It’s sure to be fun!
