Covid-19 Update

Broadway Church Is Open

The church has been open since the end of June and we have been learning how to meet together and worship in a very different way than we are used to. Still, it is great to be together as a family again. If you are looking for a place to go to church you are welcome to join us.

We are meeting on Sundays at 10am in person and are continuing our on-line live stream and Facebook Live.

Now that Sept is here and the children are going back to school, some may be wondering about when we will be starting our children’s programs. We are tentatively looking at Oct 4th as the start date with a modified children’s program that will be shortened and be following some specific protocols to keep our children safe. We are continuing to watch closely what is happening in our region and will only start our children’s ministry if we feel it is safe to do so. We are also looking at providing a virtual children’s program for the parents and children who are still unable to attend at this time to be launched on Oct 4th as well.

As we are meeting together, we are continuing to follow the Ontario Minister of Health recommendations.

Please take some time to read them and do your best to follow these guidelines.

Please remain at home for your safety and the safety of others: if your health is compromised, if you are sick, if you have been out of the province within the last 2 weeks, or if you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.

When you attend:

  • Social distancing rules will be in effect
  • The use of hand sanitizer on entry and exit of the building will be encouraged.
  • Masks will be required for everyone entering the building. (including children over the age of 2)
  • There will be limited use of washrooms (use only if absolutely necessary).
  • Everyone will check in upon arrival (for an extra level of safety).
  • Everyone will only be seated with their households.
  • There will be no Children’s Ministry programs until Oct 4th.
  • Children must remain with their parent if they are not in the children’s program.

We are in this together and with Jesus as our protector we will make it through.
